Welcome

Here are various albums of pictures. There is a menu of pages to open which will be displayed across the top of this page if the window is wide enough. If the window is too narrow, there will be a blue, square icon with three white lines through it in the upper right corner of the screen which, when clicked, will display the menu. To get to the pictures, click on "Galleries".

The picture albums are arranged in a hierarchical fashion similar to the arrangement of computer files in directories, with picture albums corresponding to computer files and picture album sets corresponding to computer file directories. An album set may contain other album sets or albums. The content of an album set is represented on the screen by a group of thumbnail pictures, each of which represents an album set or album. Click on a thumbnail to go to the album set or album it represents.

When you eventually get down to an album there will be a group of thumbnails representing the pictures in the album. Click on one of the thumbnails and you will get a large version of its picture. The picture should be shown in a "slide show" view in which the picture is surrounded by grey. There should be a few icons at the top right of the screen. The left most one is an arrow. Clicking on the arrow will start a shide show. Alternatively, you may use the left and right arrow computer keys to go to the previous or next picture. If the network cannot deliver the pictures fast enough, the picture will be shown in a "single picture" view, which has a bold, black border around the picture and no slide show icon. If you want the "slide show" view, wait a short while and dismiss the "picture view" by clicking on the "x" in the upper left hand corner. This will take you back to the album's thumbnails. Click on a thumbnail. If you have waited long enough, you will get the "slide show" view.
